During my time managing $80M+ in payroll operations, I spent countless hours on tasks that should have been automated:

• Manual data transformation: Converting messy vendor reports into standardized formats
• Growth analysis in Excel: Building MoM/QoQ/YoY calculations from scratch
• Executive reporting: Creating dashboards for leadership visibility
• Data quality issues: Catching errors before they reached downstream systems

I built the tools I wished I had. This suite automates what took hours into seconds with two integrated apps:

• Data Pipeline Pro: turns messy vendor exports into clean, standardized files ready for billing, funding, and payment runs.
• GSV Tracker Pro: calculates growth, surfaces trends, and visualizes performance on upload.

The goal: make it easy for Finance and Operations to trust the data and move faster.

What I Learned

• Build for real needs: theory is nice; real operations pain points drive adoption.
• Data validation first: bad data in = bad insights out. Validate early and visibly.
• Visual feedback matters: people trust systems that show what’s happening step-by-step.
• Exports are essential: great insights trapped in a UI are useless to Finance.
• Dark mode helps: analysts and payroll teams work late—support their eyes.

What’s Next

• Database integration: SQL backend for larger, multi-year datasets.
• Custom metric builder: let users define and save their own KPIs.
• Scheduled reports: automated daily/weekly/monthly reporting to stakeholders.
• Multi-currency support: extend to global payroll operations.
• Team collaboration: shared workspaces, saved views, and comments.
